MWR Development update 28.04.21:

-Because of GMS2 updates, MWR Project was renamed from MALWARE to MalwareRewritten, which caused the game folder to be renamed aswell.

-We added “coyote time” to the game, a small feature that should make platforming a bit more forgiving and smooth.

-Stage 1-2 transitions were added, they’re cool.

-Enemy projectiles and spikes were changed to brighter yellow color, so they would be more visible on Stage 2, as Stage 2 is already yellow by itself.

-Enemy health values has been changed, previously every enemy except for the dasher had 8 health points, it has been later changed: (B̶U̶F̶F̶E̶D̶ ̶L̶O̶L̶)

-Pickup items now have the same sprite scale. Not like it’s something important but i just wanted to point it out:

-Added Double jump upgrade, that should unlock after Miniboss 2. Miniboss 2 is currently in development.

-Major bosses levae their “cores” that NULL_ can absorb and gain +1 max HP, which leads to player having 7 Health points on Stage 3.

-“Dasher”‘s trail now works the same way as player’s dash trail.

-Added a new enemy type: “BoomerZ” (An inside joke with CyberDonk3y), is a new enemy that shoots projectiles like a boomerang.

-Added a new enemy type: Burst shooter, a hovering stationary turret that instead of spinning and occasionally shooting, shoots a burst of projectiles directly at the player: (Don’t mind the flying thumper in the left corner, it’s a coyote time indicator for test purposes)
